The importance of systematic registration of real estate information
In order to be able to realise long-term economic growth, countries need to register their real estate information and manage these registration systems. Reliable registration of cadastral and mortgage information plays a key role in attracting investors from other countries. With foreign investment the government can implement new projects that help to make the country more affluent.

Kadaster International supports organisations that are responsible for cadastre and land registry services in countries where these services have not yet been optimally developed. Among other things, this support, which is provided through institutional building, consultancy, pilot projects and training, focuses on:
