Kadaster is internationally active in the fields of information, education and research. This aim is rooted in our policy for corporate social responsibility. Together with ITC (Twente University) we are responsible for the School for Land Administration Studies.
We advise foreign governmental organisations about system design for land registration and geographic data. We also share our knowledge with organisations such as the World Bank and the Federation International de Geomètres (FIG). Kadaster maintains the 'International Office of Cadastre and Land Records' (OICRF), an international documentation centre on the issue of land registration.
We are fully aware of the fact that we operate within an international environment. We encounter, for instance, European data standards and legislation. But also fast rising technologies and digital ways of working. We aim to play a leading role and make sure we remain well-informed. For the benefit of a well-operating Kadaster, as well as the Dutch citizens.
Kadaster shares its knowledge outside the Netherlands. We do so by contributing to international congresses, conferences, publications and educational programmes.
Through our quarterly newsletter Abroad we provide an outline of our activities and our perspective on recent developments.
In addition, Kadaster is represented in the boards of several international organisations, such as:Go to website European Land Registry Association
